i’m a huge art nerd

I’ve always loooved art - I was the kid that doodled all over the margins of my homework assignments (my teachers didn’t FULLY appreciate my masterpieces, surprisingly), but thankfully I was able to follow this passion of mine into college. Photography was always a hobby of mine, but I originally went to school for Drawing & Painting, and it was my major for 3 years before I decided to switch to Photography. Thankfully, those 3 years of classical training in the visual arts have proven to be an invaluable artistic asset to my photography; giving me a deep understanding and knowledge of color theory, composition, light, etc.

I’m Married to my best friend

Ben and I really did start out as best friends (for 4 years!), until one day we were talking on the phone and I realized I had a big, fat crush on him. We started dating shortly after that, taking tons of trips between Seattle and San Diego to see each other, FaceTiming any chance we got, and working our booties off to make the long distance a thing of the past (we did it!). We now live in San Diego with our crazy cats Mito (short of Mitochondria) and Pi (like 3.14), and got married in May of 2022!

• Rollerskating

• Spicy Food (ESPECIALLY Hot Cheetos/Fries)

• Arrested Development aka the greatest show to ever air on television

• Traveling anywhere and everywhere

• La Croix

• New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs (when did I become a wine snob?)
